Grievous Angel

Although years have passed, Justine Fraser, an English bookstore manager in her 30s, continues to brood over her tempestuous affair with Nicky Bennet, whom she met during a semester abroad in the United States. When she learns that Nicky, now a movie star, has vanished from the Canada set of his current picture, she decides to go looking for him herself, although the evidence all points to suicide.
